An avid writer and lover of all forms of language, Lilian's poetry, short fiction and creative non-fiction has appeared in The New York Times "Modern Love" column, and in online literary journals such as Spittoon Magazine, Thrice FictionSymmetry PebblesSurvivor's ReviewSome Ways to Disappear and Pyrta Journal, among others. 

As a playwright, Lilian’s short plays, Aether and Now Casting, were featured in the 2020 and 2019 Womxn on Fire Festivals at Keegan Theatre, Washington, D.C. Her play, OLYMPUS: Perchance to Sleep, written in iambic pentameter, was a finalist in Red Bull Theatre’s New Short Play Festival, 2023, New York City.
